Chris grew up in the Albuquerque area and has a background in computer science, entrepreneurship and engineering. After attending meetups with the Deaf community while in New York, he became interested in learning ASL. He leads Sign Language Blitz's software development. He also works on nuclear technology for space applications and has a young daughter at home. chris@sign-language-blitz.com

Michael is a Deaf teacher who has been teaching ASL for almost 20 years at both high school and college. He has a Master of Arts Degree in Sign Language Education from Gallaudet University. His hobbies are reading comic books, going to the gym (when he can), and watching Netflix.

Amy is a native Californian in the Pacific Northwest, armed with a B.A. in Deaf Studies and M.A. in Education Administration from CSUN. She has 25+ years of ASL teaching, curriculum development, and online course development. In 2012, Oregon State was the first university to offer the first-ever prototypical full-credit online ASL courses, created and developed by Amy, which was far ahead of its time. Now in-person and hybrid ASL courses in colleges and universities are standard. As a geek, Amy loves sci-fi shows and movies (Star Trek, anyone?) She uses V.R. for workouts that don’t feel like workouts, just fun calorie-burning activities. Her morning meditation includes building awesome LEGO stuff. She loves to travel and already plans some overseas trips soon. She’s a mama with a teenage kiddo and a fabulous orange tabby named Mr. Orange Bean (with his own TikTok! @ASLazz10).

Makenna is an ASL interpreting student and entrepreneur from St. Paul, Minnesota. She discovered her passion for ASL in high school and continued her learning journey by enrolling in American Sign Language Interpreting program at Saint Paul College after graduating with her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bethel University. She runs her own Social Media Management business, Entirely Bonkers Media Co, which helps business owners tell their stories authentically online. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her two cats, and visiting all the local coffee shops in the Twin Cities area.

Mabel played a key in developing the first lesson plans and content for Sign Language Blitz. She developed an interest in sign language through classroom experience, and graduated from RIT/NTID with a concentration in Deaf studies.

Gerald is Deaf and grew up in Philadelphia. He graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Technology Management. Gerald played a key role at Sign Language Blitz creating the many of the videos for the lessons. Gerald enjoys running and socializing.
